Misty was an amazing friend who had the kindest eyes and the softest of expressions which melted my heart and everyone else’s.

I was very proud of all her achievements from the many puppy awards she accumulated to obtaining her Junior Warrant.She made me very happy when she went onto to take her Full Champion Title after taking her Show Gundog Working Certificate.

I was very proud of her on the day of the test as she not only retrieved the bird that she was sent for by my friend (who was her handler on the day) but bought it to hand to me where I was working another dog in an adjacent field which was separated by an eight foot deep by ten foot wide ditch.

She managed to run across both  fields and in and out of the ditch and against all the odds for a novice dog delivered a huge Cock pheasant in great style.

She has been a tremendous loss to Fairfield as she was such a kind and loving girl. She is missed more than words can ever say.
