Puppy Days

I was lucky enough to buy a puppy from the Westley Kennel and from one of their bitches that I really loved (Martha)

Daphne Philpott,Joan Gill and Mervyn Philpott were the breeders at this wonderful kennel and who allowed me to have what turned out to be the Foundation Bitch of all my line.

It was a very proud day for me when I went to collect Sophie as an eight week old puppy.

I chose her  because she was a lovely shape and had a beautiful head and a kind eye.

She was the foundation bitch of all the Dogs and Bitches that I have had the good fortune to breed on from and that I own today.

She was a lovely girl who was a great pleasure to live with.Never one to get into mischief or be naughty but relished all the cuddles you could give her.

I can only say Thank you to her for passing on a wonderful legacy of excellent shapes,lovely heads and impeccable Golden Retriever Temperaments
